// What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They're used to make sites work, remember preferences, and — with your permission — measure how the site is performing.
// What we use, and why
- Strictly necessary. A small
cookie-consentvalue stored in your browser's local storage so we know which choice you made on the cookie banner. This isn't technically a cookie, but the law treats it the same way. It expires when you clear site data. - Analytics — only with your consent. If you click "Accept All" on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4. GA4 sets
_gaand_ga_*cookies (lifetime: up to 24 months) used to count visitors and aggregate page views. We don't enable GA's advertising features. If you choose "Essential Only" or never interact with the banner, GA does not load and these cookies are never set.
// Changing your choice
You can change or revoke consent at any time by clearing your browser's site data for neonwavestudios.co.uk — the cookie banner will reappear on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies using your browser's privacy settings (note that doing so may affect how some sites behave).
// Third parties
The only third-party cookies we knowingly set are Google Analytics's, and only with your consent. Embedded content from other sites (e.g. Discord invite previews) may set their own cookies — those are governed by the relevant third party's privacy policy.
